Arne was brought up with all kinds of music: classical, pop, jazz, blues. With a guitarist as father and two sisters and a brother playing piano, violin and cello he started playing the drums, guitar and piano as well. Playing the drums since his 7th, rhythm had always a strong presence in his life. He discovered dance, house, R&B and HipHop when he started college at 18th and visited clubs more often.

He met Luc at the university, and learned the DJ-skills at his place on the Pioneer 1000. There was no hesitation when Luc asked him to join his as DJ.

Luc was raised in an environment rich with classical music. As a young boy, he enjoyed music played by his father on the piano, harpsichord and bassoon in a home where classical music was nearly ever-present. During his young years, his interest in pop music was first sparked by the song "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson and these young years saw him building an ever-expanding collection of CDs. As he grew older, Luc's interest shifted more to hip-hop and house music, adding a great many CDs to his collection.

In 2004, the infamous DJ L.W.N. from Utrecht came with the suggestion that Luc should perhaps put his ever-expanding CD collection to good use and Luc was quick to purchase his first turntables and mixer set: the Pioneer CDJ-1000s and DJM 600. After playing a few gigs and making several appearances at parties in the Utrecht scene, Luc started to get the hang of it. However, it wasn't until Arne suggested that the two should collaborate and that a real synergetic performance started to develop.

The chemistry between Arne and Luc that allows for a unique experience in performance, is not in the least the result of different styles of mixing, but especially because the two have very different taste in music. The music that Arne prefers doesn't always meet Luc's demands and vice versa, resulting in a significant expansion of possible styles and tracks that they consider at events, presenting a mesh of styles and sounds that always meets the demands of the crowd.
